They thought I was a traitor.
They were wrong.
I’m back in the club now, wearing the same cut I always have.
My brothers…my family…say I belong here…
But it doesn’t feel that way. Not yet.
I didn’t take my old house inside the compound.
I bought one somewhere else. Close enough if they need me, far enough to breathe.
No one treats me differently, but I still feel like an outsider.
Like I’m wearing colors I haven’t earned back.
I’ll prove myself again. I have to.
Because this is my family. My club.
And I’m not letting them go.

Life doesn’t slow down for me. Between raising my daughter, caring for my brother, and keeping food on the table, there’s no space for distractions. Especially not a relationship. The truth is, I can’t afford to let anyone in. Loving me means carrying my responsibilities, my chaos, my burdens. And I won’t ask anyone to do that.
